I love love love dry shampoo. I have long, thick hair so styling it is a pain. It takes me a good hour to make my hair presentable looking and not something you'd see walking around Walmart! 😶
I have been using the "baby powder trick" for as long as I can remember! So you can only imagine my excitement when they started marketing something that did the samething AND smelled yummy.
I have used countless different brands and dry shampoo products over the year, I literally can't even recall them all but I'm just going to talk about what I have right now.
As I type this I have two sitting in my bathroom. I have Batiste dry shampoo for dark hair and Oh Bee Hive by TIGI.
I bought the Batiste first. I think I paid around $7 for it. The first time I used it I was like "oh my..." I loved it. It smells good, it doesn't leave my brown hair white and it was cheap. I had seen multiple people on YouTube talking about it so I was excited to try it out. The only thing that I don't care for is it leaves a werid brown powder on your fore head/ears. I know it's just the coloring in the dark hair formula but still it's kind of a pain in the butt. It seems to wipe off pretty easily. I would just suggest Using this before you apply your makeup or at very least your foundation.Overall I do like this product. I still use it every now and then.
Since the other left the brown powder on y head I decided to look for something less messy that I could quickly use on days I'm in a rush. The result of that lead to me owning Oh Bee Hive by TIGI. I want to say I paid around $15 for it. I was a little less willing to buy when I saw the price because the Batiste was so cheap, but I sucked it up and did it anyway. I used it when I got home to see if it added any body to ay hair like every dry shampoo claims to do. To very much my surprise, it did! It was so light and wonderful and smelled like heaven in a can. Oh I absolutely love this stuff. I tried not to count my chickens before they hatched so I Decided not to make any judgements right then. Especially since I had clean hair. So I woke up the next day, washed my hair and planned to not wash that night. The next morning I woke up and was getting ready to go to pharmacology (ugh) when I decided to try it out again. Well once more I fell in love with it. It isn't colored dark so I immediately thought it was going to leave my hair looking chalky and gross. That was definitely not the case. It worked perfectly. I have never used a dry shampoo that worked the way this one does. I'm telling you it's the best. If I never use another dry shampoo product again I will die a happy lady. It is hands down one of my favorite hair products!
Overall, the Batiste is nice, smells yummy and does it's intended job. But the TIGI was amazing. If you're looking into buying a dry shampoo product, I strongly suggest spending the extra few dollars and getting Oh Bee Hive by TIGI. You will not regret it!!
Thanks for reading!
Much Love,
